Game Design Experience

As a Game Designer for unicorn startups, international teams and consultancies, I’ve had the pleasure of designing a range of games from mobile to console, AAA to indie. I specialize in user experience, making your onboarding a seamless part of the full game and crafting memorable moments that engage and retain growing communities.
Outside of work, I enjoy writing D&D books and crafting experiences with friends old and new.

Pick your metric: Engagement, Retention, Conversion, Revenue… all roads lead to Game Design. From engaging, layered feedback loops, and ‘dark patterns’ popularized by loot boxes and casino games, to heartfelt storylines that keep players hooked until the tearful end, every game needs its engaging elements.
Each element, from economics to user experience, is part of a complex equation unique to every game. Much like a chemist in his lab, I’ve been balancing these elements for over 5 years with a range of companies: mobile games unicorn Scopely (Scrabble Mobile, Walking Dead, Avengers, Star Trek, and more); indie startup Punk City (the top-5 Telegram messenger blockchain game); now I’m building the blockchain console game Mazuri City (referred to as the Cyberpunk of web3).
Every project I have worked with succeeded thanks to a unique mix of solutions. If you’d like to take a look at your game, no matter what stage of production it’s in, feel free to reach out for a casual conversation!
